Busy Bee May!
Whoa. May was an insanely busy month for me! It started with a beyond amazing bachelorette party, then my fabulous sister & brother in law visited us. Memorial day weekend I photographed a beautiful wedding for an incredible couple – Mark & Ashley. The next day, I was in one of my best friend’s wedding, Jessica – she was such a beautiful bride! I ended my month by photographing some adorable children – baby Kendall & cutie Will! Take a look for yourself!
Here’s a recap of my month in photographs :

A bit of personal time as well. Dyed & cut my hair. I am obsessed with this black cherry color!
| Quick little product review |
Product : Garnier Fructis Nutrisse hair color
Color : Black Cherry #42
Difficulty : 5 out of 5
Rating : LOVE IT! This color is amazing!
It looks like a deep brown until the light hits it showing the maroon undertones. It’s a color that is not found in nature, so it’s good for someone who is bold & wants something out of the ordinary. I have been coloring my own hair for years now. When I started, friends would help. However, now that I don’t live in a college dorm with girls on either side of me. It’s a bit more difficult to recruit help. I have started doing it on my own & can personally say, it’s very difficult. If you want to try dying your hair yourself, start with a temporary color or a semi-permanent . These colors do not last as long as permanent color which lasts six – eight weeks. Here are some coloring tips from www.sheknows.com
As you can see, I’ve been keeping myself quite busy. The month of June Sophia & I have some very exciting blog posts coming up! Keep your eyes peeled lovelies – it’s going to be a busy month for The Lovely Thread!
Adore and miss you! I love the hair!! I have a horror story about this color on me!! Can you imagine… I’m a blond – dark blond at most and I did this same black cherry color in college!! My friend colored it for me. She did a fantastic job – I just looked terrible!! You on the other hand look totally fabulous! Last but not least, I love the picture of you and your hubby. No people, his name is really not Chelsea. 🙂
