I would like to warmly welcome you to Sophia’s Corner! I have a deep passion for fashion and love to design and make things look fabulous! I am excited to share with you all my fashion and organizing tips!

First, I want to tell you a few things about myself.  I am graduating from high school in 33 days (yes I have been keeping count). I will be starting college at F.I.T (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York City this fall.  My major is fashion-merchandising management in the Jay and Patty Baker School of Business and Technology.   I am going to be living in the heart of New York City, in my favorite neighborhood, Chelsea! I’m super excited to be able to share my experience in New York City over the next four years with you guys!

I have lived in Alexandria, Virginia, in the same house all my life.  Growing up 10 miles south of Washington, D.C. has been really interesting, but having lived in the ‘burbs has kept me grounded in childhood normalcy. I have a pretty big family of 6 that I am very close with.  My family is the most important thing to me in life and I can’t imagine my life without them. I have two older sisters and one older brother, so I am the baby of the family!  I have two amazing parents who have never stopped supporting me even through my craziest ambitions and goals!

My current love is not a guy, but a store called Mint Condition.  I have worked with Sarah at this designer resale store for over a year.  We have a great boss, Toni, and I have learned an abundance of knowledge and had fun along the way! Two of my favorite things are clothes and organizing.  At work I get to be surrounded by the cutest clothes from some of the best designers, including Tory Burch, DVF, Milly, Rag & Bone, and so many more.  I love to keep the store perfect looking!

Now that you have learned a few things about me, I cannot wait to start this journey with you!  I will be sharing what is hot and trendy in New York, giving you tips and ideas along the way!

  1. How exciting!! Congrats! I can’t wait to hear what’s hot on the streets of NYC, via Sophie! As a loyal customer of Mint Condition, you will be terribly missed as I’m excited to keep up with you and what’s trending here on
